Quiz Bowl

In Quiz Bowl action on Oct. 14, the Dutch Nerd Army (DNA) had a opened their season at the Jan Rademacher Invitational hosted by White Cloud. The varsity team of Isaac Cinzori, Adam Chamness, Annalise Mancinelli, and Evan Shibley went 4-5 on the day against state-level competition. Isaac Cinzori was one of the top 10 scorers on the day, and the team did qualify for the State tournament this spring.

The "B" team had a tougher day, but Alberto Castillo was the top scorer for the team. The JV team of Seth Ralph, Jon Noordijk, Diamante Balcazar, and Alex Marko had a 5-5 record on the day. The DNA will be in action again on November 11, when we host the 12th Annual Fall Quiz Bowl Invitational at Holland High.
